It's a Sign of the Times.........

We've enjoyed signs all the way along our almost 12,000 miles of driving.
We began in Bishop with our Hwy 6 sign.....

into Ely, Nevada.............
And into the Great Basin National Park, with its bristlecone pines...........

Random art work and random messages always intrigued us.

Judy had her embroidery message for us in Salt Lake City........

And at the local art fair, there was a tent for infant care with this sign.

Crossing the Continental Divide.  First of several times.......

Our cranky rutting bull elk guy in Yellowstone.  Really, don't approach the elk!

Somewhere on the north shore of Lake Superior.........

A sure sign we're movin' on.....our lucky 77777!

Hands down, the best church sign ever!  Thank you, Wisconsin!

The Republican debates, Hanover, NH.  We're not Republican.  But history is history.

And the end of the mythical Hwy 6, in Cape Cod

Provincetown, MA.  Excellent idea!

Somewhere in North Carolina.  I sat paralyzed at these signs..........then the GPS told me what to do.

Yes, wordless signs give much information about culture and population.....

What can I say about this giant peach?  It speaks for itself.......

So, now we're in Texas.  Really.  At least they're honest, eh?

Our second favorite church sign

And my favorite mailbox and street sign, in east Texas, Cass County.  Pretty cool when you can name your road after your parents/grandparents!

OK, I know I don't frequent Walmart in my real life, but this was the only store.  And, wow, they're serious about their huntin' in Texas!

Just plain good advice..........

Good night, from Borrego Springs..................Rj
