We're sorry, but after all, you knew it was inevitable. All those miles of driving led not only to ramblings in magnificent scenery, but to idle ramblings of the minds......
Good thing we have a Subaru (with an automatic idle) and not a Rambler.........
There was a couple so daring
They headed out east, engine raring
And when they were done
They'd had so much fun
And told us how well they'd been faring!
There once was a gal name of Leslie
Her clothes and her car smelled so freshly
When faced with great stress
And things in a mess
She solved it with bars made of Nestle!
And then there's the lovely Renee
Likes traveling: "It's quite A-OK!"
O'er the miles of this land
Many guidebooks in hand
And the rules of the road she'll obey.
And last but not least there is Anna
Whose nickname is Anna-Banana
She has a great nose
but old injured toes
Still hunts little critters as she can-a!

Hello! I knew the limericks would come, sooner or later....(September 3rd blog comment...)and great job composing them!!!!!!!! The pictures are just wonderful, and again, can't wait to see more, and hear more about your travels. The Bill/motorcycle accident story was great, too...
ReplyDeleteLove you both, be careful, have fun!
Will do! xoxo
ReplyDeleteJust like Renee to ALWAYS be READY! That's why she's a great role model!
ReplyDeleteLove the poems! That's the great thing about cross country driving. You have the time to settle in and let the mind roam freely! Awesome!
